With a CV that boasts overseeing +1,000,000 SQFT of prime Shopping Centre’s as Retail Operations Director, Head of Operations at Liverpool Football Club, working for Blue Chip companies, such as Marks & Spencer’s and The Arcadia Group as well as 6 years in Aviation holding the Vice Presidency position of Menzies Aviation North – we reckon we’re in safe hands. Whadda man whadda man whadda mighty good man.
Honestly, this project is probably the biggest to hit our area in many years. We are delighted that the Chief Executive of one of our region’s largest employers, Des Moore of The Cumberland will be giving us his take on the impact the airport will have on the local economy.Before joining the Society, Des spent 5 years as Managing Director of First Trust Bank. He has also held a number of previous senior positions at Bank of Ireland, Permanent TSB and National Irish Bank. Des lives in Carlisle though he originally hails from Ireland, somewhere Cumbria will be soon be even more closely connected with.
