An immersive digital ‘anti-conference’ that aims to challenge and inspire Cumbrian businesses to grasp creative technological opportunities has attracted many of the county’s top brass. The agenda for the day welcomes speakers from Manchester, London and Cumbria alongside experiential happenings which will expose attendees to technology and ideas ranging from futuristic transportation, global location mapping What3Words, to flexible working space via Conker Living and even how to utilise Virtual Reality.
The impressive line-up and relevant topic has caught the imagination of Cumbria’s leading lights and attendees include top brass from Cumbria Tourism, Stagecoach, Story Contracting, Cumbria LEP, Hawkshead Relish, Cumbria County Council, South Lakeland District Council, Grasmere Gingerbread, Lakeland, Impact, Department for International Trade,Lakeland Arts, Lancaster University, University of Cumbria, English Lakes Hotels and many more.
The half-day anti-conference, as organisers Flock are coining it, costs £35 + VAT and includes food, drink, networking, talks and all experiences. It takes place inside and on the grounds of Brathay Hall, Ambleside.
