About Intro

So who the heck are Intro, organisers of The Gather?

Helen and Nick set up Intro PR and Social Media way back in the mists of time (OK, it was 2017) and now the business has around a dozen creatives united in their desire to make Cumbria a better place with crazy PR stunts and quality social media campaigns. It was Intro that launched the world’s first shops where you pay with kindness for The Cumberland, and they have also organised the Historic Quarter Arts Festival.

That’s enough about us, keep scrolling to meet The Gather sponsors.

Whether you’re the boss, collect moss or understand profit and loss, it’s all good so sign up to our mailing list.

So, who are you? Sarah Mason, recruitment consultant at NXT Recruitment.

And what does that involve? I build long lasting relationships with clients from local businesses, across multiple-sectors and help them with their recruitment needs. I also work closely with individuals looking for opportunities, understanding their needs and placing them in new roles.

What do you bring to our networking event? At The Gather, I bring a fresh, youthful perspective to the networking scene in Cumbria, offering new ideas and approaches to the event, while also bringing a sense of style.  My enthusiasm, energy and people-focused approach helps me connect easily with others. As a recruitment consultant I can also bring a good insight into the recruitment market as well as offer feedback into what employers are looking for in candidates.

Why are you a sponsor of The Gather? NXT Recruitment sponsors The Gather because it’s a fun and engaging way to connect with people. As a recruitment agency, we’re all about building relationships. Networking is about talking to people, sharing ideas, and creating opportunities, and this event perfectly reflects that energy and approach.

So, who are you? John Haley, Commercial Property Partner at Edwin Thompson.

And what does that involve? All things land and property but primarily selling, buying, leasing, valuing, developing and managing commercial property.

Who do you like about The Gather? The variety of people, events and locations.

What do you bring to our networking event? Primarily professional connections, property gossip and a laugh, hopefully.

Why are you a sponsor of The Gather? Bringing like-minded people together in Cumbria is not as easy as it sounds, so needs as much support as possible.

So, who are you? John Osborne, partner at Harrison Drury Solicitors.

And what does that involve? I head up the Family Law Dept and work from the Kendal office at Harrison Drury.

Who do you like to meet at The Gather? I like to meet people I have never met before, especially from business types I have never come across previously.

What do you bring to a The Gather event? Enthusiasm, fun and the ability to listen to others.

Why are you a sponsor of The Gather? Because we are proud to fly the HD flag in Cumbria and to be part of shaping its vibrant networking scene.
