What is this LA23NET Christmas Quiz thing?
The annual and somewhat infamous LA23NET Christmas Quiz takes place at BaHa Bowness-on-Windermere on Wednesday 12th December. Alongside the frankly comedic Christmas Jumper Competition the event will also welcome two of Cumbria’s most-respected faces as Quizmasters on the night. Delicious food, welcome fizz and table wine is combined with a quiz that gets weirdly competitive (you know who you are) and topped off with prizes that are better than your average office Secret Santa, but not much.
And who are those mysterious Quizmasters?
Less ‘Alas Smith & Jones’ and more… ‘Alas Whitehead & Farron’.
If you haven’t already guessed (which really you should have) LA23NET is overjoyed to welcome Maria Whitehead MBE of Hawkshead Relish and Tim Farron MP of the Liberal Democrat Party as hosts for the evening. Already proving themselves to be a pair of excellent sports by donning their own Christmas fashion show for the photoshoot with Victoria Sedgwick. This upbeat pair will be giving up their time and probably a little pride to take part in the LA23NET Christmas Quiz and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts for doing so. Especially as Janett and Soph write the questions!
